Lead the Operational Engine Behind a High-Growth Global Fashion Business

We are seeking an exceptional Operations Director to join a energetic and rapidly growing global women's fashion business. Operating across Australia and the United States, this is a critical executive leadership role responsible for building and scaling the operational infrastructure that enables the business to trade efficiently across wholesale, ecommerce, and production channels.

Reporting directly to the COO, you will be the architect behind the systems, processes, partnerships, and operational capabilities that support growth, improve customer experience, and drive commercial performance. This is a unique opportunity for a highly strategic yet hands-on operations leader who thrives in fast-paced retail and fashion environments.

The Opportunity

As Operations Director, you will own the end-to-end operational ecosystem, ensuring products move seamlessly from production through to customer delivery. You will lead warehousing, logistics, fulfilment, operational systems, vendor management, and governance frameworks, while continuously improving operational efficiency and scalability.

Partnering closely with executive leadership, you will translate commercial strategy into operational reality by designing the structures, processes, and capabilities required to support ambitious growth plans across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Operational Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute the operational roadmap to support business growth across Australia and the United States.




- Align operational capabilities with commercial objectives across wholesale, ecommerce, and production channels.
- Drive operational excellence through scalable processes, systems, and governance.
- Logistics, Warehousing & Fulfilment
- Lead warehousing, logistics, and fulfilment operations across domestic and international markets.
- Ensure exceptional service standards, delivery performance, and inventory accuracy.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve speed, efficiency, and customer experience.

Systems & Process Improvement

- Own operational systems and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and accuracy.
- Lead business process redesign and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and remove friction.
- Drive the development and implementation of SOPs, policies, and governance frameworks.

Vendor & Partner Management

- Manage relationships with key logistics providers, warehouses, technology partners, and operational vendors.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and hold partners accountable through clearly defined performance measures.
- Establish vendor scorecards and performance review frameworks.

Leadership & Team Development

- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing operational teams.




- Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Develop organisational structures that support future growth and capability requirements.

About You

You are a commercially minded operations executive with a proven track record of leading complex supply chain and operational functions within a fashion, retail, ecommerce or consumer products environment.

- Significant senior leadership experience across operations, supply chain, or logistics functions.
- Experience working within multi-channel retail businesses spanning wholesale and ecommerce.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with a focus on operational efficiency and performance.
- Expertise in operational systems, process design, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills with experience partnering at executive level.
- A strategic mindset combined with the ability to execute and drive change.
- Experience managing third-party logistics and international operational networks.
