Overview

We're working with multiple established Fire Protection contractors who are looking for Drafters / Designers to join their teams on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in Fire Protection drafting who wants to take the next step, develop their design capabilities and work across a variety of commercial projects or seasoned designers looking for a new challenge.

You'll be working closely with experienced designers, project managers and the wider delivery team, helping produce accurate and practical fire protection designs from concept through to construction.

The Role

- Producing detailed Fire Protection drawings and documentation
- Drafting and designing wet and/or dry fire protection systems
- Working from project specifications, architectural drawings and engineering requirements
- Updating drawings throughout the project lifecycle
- Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and site teams
- Assisting with design coordination and clash detection
- Ensuring drawings meet relevant Australian Standards and project requirements
- Supporting the wider design team with technical documentation

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in Fire Protection drafting or design
- Experience with AutoCAD is essential




- Revit experience highly regarded
- Strong understanding of Fire Protection systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Someone keen to continue developing their technical and design skills
