About the role

Bee Me Early Learners Nanango is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher / Diploma Educator to join our team in Murgon, QLD 4605. This is a part-time position that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality early childhood education and care to young children in our service. As an Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma Educator, you will be instrumental in creating a nurturing, stimulating environment where children can learn, grow and develop their potential during their early years.

This role is essential to our commitment to providing exceptional care and education that supports each child's individual development and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

- Plan, implement and evaluate curriculum activities that are developmentally appropriate and engage children's learning and curiosity
- Provide direct care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety, health and emotional wellbeing at all times
- Build positive relationships with children and families, maintaining open communication and encouraging parental involvement
- Maintain comprehensive observations and documentation of children's development and progress in line with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inclusive, welcoming environment for all children and families
- Support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through intentional teaching and play-based learning
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports and communication logs
- Adhere to all duty of care, health and safety,



and compliance requirements within the early childhood service
- Participate in career development opportunities and contribute to team meetings and planning sessions

What we're looking for

- A valid Early Childhood Teacher qualification (tertiary degree) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, Certificate 111 or willing to obtain
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and current best practice in early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with children, families and colleagues
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping and documentation
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's development and fostering a love of learning
- Flexibility and adaptability in a part-time role, with availability to meet service needs
- A commitment to maintaining professional standards and adhering to relevant legislation and policies
- Previous experience working in early childhood settings is highly valued
