We are seeking an Employment Lawyer with 2-5 yrs PAE to join a reputable and rapid-growing specialist litigation practice in Sydney CBD.
You will have experience in employment and workplace law, enjoy working closely with clients and be keen to develop your skills across a variety of complex and interesting matters.
Duties will include
- Assisting with a broad range of employment and workplace disputes
- Working closely with senior lawyers to provide practical and commercially focused advice to clients
- Preparing court documents, submissions, settlement agreements and other legal materials
- Supporting matters before the Fair Work Commission, Federal Court and other relevant jurisdictions
- Advising on unfair dismissal, general protections,
discrimination and workplace conduct matters
- Assisting with restraint of trade issues, post-employment obligations and confidential information disputes
- Participating in workplace investigations and other sensitive employment matters
- Building strong client relationships while developing technical skills
