This is a hands-on operations and events role for someone who notices details, thinks quickly and solves problems. You'll represent our growing group of businesses, assess issues, find solutions and keep things moving while maintaining happy clients and vendors.
Key responsibilities
- Represent our group of businesses confidently and professionally
- Manage operations across events, markets, children's activities and entertainment
- Identify objectives and ensure they are achieved
- Solve problems calmly using common sense
- Work independently without constant supervision
- Drive a ute and safely tow an approximately 8-metre trailer
- Perform physical, hands-on work indoors, outdoors, alone or in busy environments
- Adapt quickly when plans change during events
- Take initiative to identify and complete productive tasks that help the business run better
- Work weekends as part of the regular roster
About you
- Reliable, punctual and takes genuine pride in work
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Friendly, confident and professional with customers, vendors and suppliers
- Arrives clean, well-presented and ready to represent our businesses
- Works well as part of a team
- Comfortable working with children at times
- Current driver's licence
- Confident driving a ute and safely towing an approximately 8-metre trailer
- Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Working With Children Check or willing to obtain one
- First Aid qualifications or willing to obtain them

Perks
- $75,000 - $80,000 per year plus superannuation
- 38 hours per week rostered across any five days
- Two consecutive days off each week
- Additional paid hours may be available during busy event periods
- Genuine contractor arrangement may be considered for the right person
