About the Role
We are a growing plumbing and excavation company looking for a Qualified Plumber, Apprentice Plumber or experienced Excavator Operator to join our team.
Our work is mainly focused on new residential construction, underground drainage, sewer and stormwater systems, excavation and general plumbing works across Melbourne.
This is a hands-on role with consistent work and the opportunity to operate modern machinery and work across a variety of projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
- New home plumbing
- Underground sewer and stormwater drainage
- Rough-ins and general plumbing works
- Excavation and trenching
- Operating excavators ranging from approximately 5T–14T
- Reading plans and setting out drainage
- Installing sewer, stormwater and associated pipework
- Backfilling and site preparation
- Working safely around existing underground services
- General maintenance and plumbing works
- Looking after company tools, vehicles and machinery
- Working independently and as part of a team
What We’re Looking For Depending on the position you’re applying for:
- Qualified/Registered Plumber or Apprentice Plumber
- Experienced excavator operators are also encouraged to apply
- Experience with underground drainage and excavation highly regarded
- Excavator operating experience preferred
- Current White Card
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- HR Truck Licence is an advantage
- Reliable and punctual
- Good work ethic
- Able to work unsupervised when required
- Takes pride in their workmanship and equipment
- Strong understanding of workplace safety
