Due to the incumbent embarking on maternity leave, the incredibly exciting and dynamic opportunity has arisen to provide outstanding executive support with an advisory element to the Deputy Commissioner of Police. Professionalism, exceptional standards of conduct, discretion and a high-level of self-awareness will define the success of the appointee in balancing the requirements of this critical, challenging and unique position.
Interest is sought from an experienced Executive Assistant who impresses with confidence, outstanding technical ability,
emotional intelligence and initiative to appropriately anticipate expectations independently with insight and practicality.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an innate propensity for time management, scheduling and coordination and a natural affinity for engagement and the development of highly respectful, professional relationships. There is an obvious requirement for confidentially, maturity and well-developed problem-solving capabilities in being exposed to, and effectively managing, a range of complex and politically sensitive priorities. Energy, enthusiasm and a high level of relatability will further typify the style of the appointee who will articulately communicate in both written and oral formats.
This 12-month contract (with possible extension) represents an outstanding opportunity to contribute at a senior level to a range of key administrative outcomes and work alongside a supportive team during an exceptional era of leadership at SAPOL.
