About the role The Superior Door Company is seeking a dedicated and reliable Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team in Bayswater North, Victoria. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our assembly and process operations. As a Factory Hand, you will be at the heart of our production process, contributing directly to the quality and efficiency of our door manufacturing operations.

Your work will be fundamental to meeting our production targets and maintaining the high standards our customers expect from The Superior Door Company.

What you'll be doing

- Assembling door components according to production specifications and quality standards
- Operating and maintaining factory equipment and machinery in a safe and effective manner
- Performing quality checks on products at various stages of production to ensure they meet company standards
- Preparing materials and components for the assembly process
- Preparing finished products for installation
- Maintaining a clean, secure and organised work workplace
- Following work instructions and production schedules to meet daily targets
- Collaborating with team members to support smooth production operations

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly or factory work is highly desirable
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and lift materials as required




- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and use equipment safely
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- A current or willingness to obtain a valid driver's licence (preferred)
- Health and safety awareness with a commitment to workplace safety standards
