About the role The Farmhand position is a hands-on, general role spanning freight, hay production, ground preparation and lucerne spraying, together with support of the farm's lamb trading operation. It suits a reliable all-rounder who is comfortable on machinery, happy behind the wheel of a truck, and willing to turn their hand to whatever the season demands.

Key responsibilities

- Operating the farm truck for freight and hay deliveries (approx. 1/2 days/week)
- Raking and turning hay through the season, and general hay production
- Ground preparation and tillage ahead of sowing
- Telehandler work — loading and unloading hay (strong proficiency required, or training towards it)

- Lucerne spraying under direction
- General farm maintenance and physical labour as the season demands

About you

- A current HR or HC truck licence
- Telehandler proficiency very highly regarded.
- A strong work ethic and a genuine, reliable, get-stuck-in attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable with demanding outdoor work in all conditions
- Able to operate farm machinery, or the aptitude to learn
- A courteous, professional manner — you'll represent us when delivering to clients
- Chemical accreditation (ChemCert)



and hay/cropping experience are a bonus, but a good attitude and willingness to learn count for more

Ordinary Time

Employment (OTE) would be 40 hours with the option for overtime when both mutually agreed.
