What you'll bring to the table

- A solid track record advising pre and post-retirees on strategies involving superannuation (including SMSF), retirement income streams, and the Age Pension.
- The ability to communicate clearly and explain complex financial topics in plain English.
- Comfortable embracing digital advice tools and innovative ways of providing advice.
- Strategic problem-solving skills with a desire to keep growing professionally as part of a friendly, collaborative team.
- An understanding of retirement trends, legislative impacts and the needs of retirement planning clients.

An insight into your day-to-day

- Provide limited strategic advice on discrete retirement planning topics to direct clients and super fund members via video consultation.
- Deliver education, interactive retirement forecasts, and strategic advice in real-time using our proprietary digital advice and forecasting engine.
- Assess client needs, goals, and risk tolerance and explore relevant strategies and scenarios involving super and non-super assets, income streams, and Centrelink entitlements.
- Maintain a high level of compliance and quality standards according to our advice principles, policies, and guardrails.




- Participate in team workshops to share client insights and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our advice model.

Your credentials

- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Financial Adviser with a track record of providing superannuation, retirement, and Centrelink advice to pre and post-retirement clients.
- Currently on the Financial Advisers Register (FAR) with relevant financial qualifications and all FASEA requirements met in line with adviser standards.
- Strong technical knowledge across super, retirement income streams, social security, and investments.
- Proficient at using financial planning modelling tools to articulate the value of advice.
- An up-to-date record of ongoing CPD activity.

This role reports to the Head of Advice with ongoing mentoring, training and support from the Retirement Essentials advice team.
