About this role

Drawing upon your allocating experience, you will manage a fleet of company and subcontract Rigids, T&D;, Walking Floor, A/B doubles delivering bulk landscape and horticultural products both within Sydney and regional NSW.

1. You will maximise the utilisation of the fleet to compliment business and customer demand.
2. You will work closely with production, sales, divisional managers and external customers to achieve customer requirements.
3. You will manage driver requirements and will work closely with the workshop manager to ensure your fleet remains at a high level of compliance and appearance at all times and you will assist in the recruitment process of all new drivers

Duties include:
1. Coordinate and pre-schedule all logistics both internal transfers of products and customer orders utilising the internal Load-Share® program (training will be provided).
2. Answer customers queries.
3. Recruiting drivers.
4. Manage driver requests.
5. Schedule fleet servicing and repairs.
6.



Invoicing clients.
7. Ensure fleet are legally weight compliant when leaving and entering the site.
8. Manage driver fatigue.
9. Comply with all NHVR & CoR legislation.
10. Work closely with office staff and Management.

To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
1. Previous proven Allocating experience.
2. Excellent communication and negotiating skills
3. Accurate and efficient data entry skills
4. Positive & friendly attitude
5. Ability to take ownership for a seamless service
6. Strong organisational and time management skills
7. Ability to work in a quick paced, team environment.
8. Available for early starts
9. Ability to work in a close-knit working environment.
10. Ability to react to schedule changes.
11. Previous experience in Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and Fatigue Management also desirable
12. As the role also deals with inbound telephone calls across the company's broad horticultural, commercial & residential landscape and building & civil contractor client base it would be highly desirable to have experience in either the landscape or building sectors.
