Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne is a busy boutique style upscale hotel of 160 rooms with a dedicated conference floor boasting 7 conference rooms in the Melbourne CBD. Our team members are dedicated and passionate and we have an exciting opportunity for a Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Operations Manager, the Food & Beverage Attendant will support the efficient day to day operations of our Food & Beverage outlets. The successful individual will be passionate about providing a warm, welcoming and professional guest service. You will be required to provide efficient food and beverage service whilst maintaining a high standard of presentation and following all company policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

- Provide friendly, efficient and professional food and beverage service
- Undertake general waiting duties including serving food and beverages and clearing tables
- Assist with the responsible service and sale of liquor
- Greet and seat guests and assist with reservations
- Provide room service and delivery duties as required
- Accurately process guest payments and follow all cashiering procedures
- Assist with the day to day operation of the Food & Beverage department
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and grooming
- Attend training sessions and team meetings as required




- Work closely with other Food & Beverage personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests
- Report any unsafe practices or situations to the manager on duty
- Any other ad hoc responsibilities as required

This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis and your availability to work a 7-day rotating roster is required, this includes days, weekends and public holidays.
