About Our Client Our client is the original supplier of steel reinforcement to the Australian construction industry. Proudly Australian since 1920, all of their steel products remain 100% Australian made with international quality assurance and compliance with Australian standards.
What You Will Be Doing
They are currently seeking a Yard Hand/Forklift Operator, to join their team out of their Morayfield yard. This is a Monday – Friday position, with shift times of 5AM - 1PM and 7AM to 3PM. You will be responsible for the following duties;
- Loading steel onto trucks using the forklift
- Loading steel onto pallets by hand and also forklift
- Packing products (mainly steel) as per an order sheet
- Operate machines to manufacture reinforcing bars
- Maintain cleanliness of the factory
What You Will Need
- Driver’s Licence + reliable transport
- High Risk Forklift Ticket
- Physically Fit
- Ability to pass a PEM/D&A;
