We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated Casual Fresh Produce Assistant to join our hardworking team on iconic James Street.

About the Role In this role, you’ll be hands-on with top-tier fresh produce, creating visually beautiful displays and delivering exceptional service to our James Street community. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing outstanding, friendly customer service.
- Opening and store set-up,
including eye-catching merchandising and fruit displays.
- Packing, wrapping, cutting, and preparing fresh fruit and vegetables for display.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and fresh department.
Availability Requirements: Weekend and weekday availability is essential. You must be available for early morning 5:00AM starts. To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Physical Fitness: The role requires heavy lifting, carrying, displaying, and storing boxes of produce.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Eye for Detail: Great knowledge of (or passion or passion to learn) fresh produce, seasons, and quality.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Superior customer service skills and register/POS experience.
- Transport: Reliable transport to Fortitude Valley for early 5:00 AM starts.
Highly Regarded (but not essential):
- Previous experience working with fresh fruit and vegetables.
