Role Description The Fresher Data Analyst (Entry / Junior Level) role is a part-time hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the Data Analyst will support the collection, organization, and analysis of operational and service-related data to help improve efficiency, customer response times, and overall performance.

Typical day-to-day tasks include preparing basic reports and dashboards, assisting in maintaining data quality, performing simple statistical analysis, and contributing to data modeling efforts under guidance. The role also involves collaborating with team members to interpret findings, communicate insights in clear language, and document processes and results. This position is designed for individuals at the start of their data career who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics abilities to interpret datasets and derive meaningful insights.




- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of Statistics to support data-driven decision-making and simple quantitative analysis.
- Candidates should possess Communication skills to present findings clearly, collaborate with colleagues, and document analysis work.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of Data Modeling concepts to assist with structuring and organizing data for reporting and analysis.
- Candidates should ideally have familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and, preferably, exposure to data visualization or BI tools.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn new tools and techniques in a rapid-paced environment.
- Candidates should have or be working toward a degree or certification in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
