Hours: 38 hours per week (Monday–Friday with occasional weekend support as required)

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, motivated and detail-focused Full-Time Cleaner to join our Operations & Facilities team. The role is responsible for ensuring rooms, common areas and office environments are maintained to an excellent standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key cleaning zones include:
- Student bedrooms and some ensuites
- Common rooms, lounges and study areas
- Dining hall and late meals room
- Office spaces and reception
- Resident communal bathrooms and showers
- Corridors, stairwells and entryways
- Laundry facilities
- Grounds cleanliness (light duties)
Key Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning of designated residential and common areas
- Deep cleaning during student turnover and holiday periods
- Waste disposal and recycling
- Cleaning of high-touch surfaces and sanitation zones
- Maintaining storerooms, equipment and chemical registers
- Reporting maintenance issues and safety hazards to Operations team
- Supporting event setup/pack down when required
- Ensuring compliance with cleaning, hygiene and WHS standards
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in commercial or institutional cleaning
- Minimum of 1 year experience in commercial or institutional cleaning
- Be a person who has pride in their work and goes the extra mile
- Ability to work independently and within a small permanent team (3 cleaners)
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Commitment to safety, confidentiality and professionalism
- Physical capacity to undertake manual cleaning tasks
- Australian work rights required
- Current Blue Card and hold a blue card for the duration of employment
- Willingess to complete a Police Check
Desirable
- Experience in residential accommodation or school/college environments
- Familiarity with WHS obligations and safe chemical use
- First Aid and CPR certifications (advantageous)
