Central Industries is seeking an experienced Gardener and Fencer/Farmhand to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Lithgow, NSW 2790, this role offers the opportunity to work across multiple properties, maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces whilst delivering rural fencing and landscaping services.
- Perform general garden maintenance tasks including lawn mowing, edging, weeding and hedge trimming across multiple properties
- Plant and maintain gardens, flower beds and landscaped areas
- Install, repair and maintain fencing of various types and materials - mainly rural fencing
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively
- Operate a range of machinery in domestic and rural settings
- Other general tasks as required
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a gardener and/or landscaper with demonstrable expertise in both gardening and fencing/farm work
- Experience with various fencing materials and installation methods
- Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of hand tools and power equipment
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport,
as this role requires travel between multiple properties
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in all weather conditions
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Experience with machinery operation such as ride-on mowers, bobcat, excavator, tractor or chainsaws
