ABOUT THE ROLE

Backam Group is currently seeking reliable Labourers and Cleaners to join a busy timber manufacturing facility in Bathurst, NSW, working within our Manufacturing Division. This is an ongoing casual role with full-time hours, offering consistent work and long-term stability. ?Location: Bathurst, NSW

? Role: Labourer or Cleaner - Timber Manufacturing

? Employment Type: Casual (Ongoing)

? Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday

? Pay Rate: $32.18 per hour casual + penalty rates

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- General cleaning throughout the timber mill
- Maintaining workshop and yard cleanliness
- Collecting and disposing of waste materials
- Assisting production teams with labouring duties
- Manual handling and repetitive lifting
- Moving materials around site
- Assisting with housekeeping and site maintenance




- Maintaining safe work practices

ABOUT YOU

You're reliable, physically capable, and safety-focused, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work consistently as part of a team. To be successful, you will have:

✅ Minimum 12 months labouring, cleaning, or manual handling experience

✅ Driver's licence and reliable transport

✅ Strong work ethic and reliability

✅ Ability to work in an industrial environment

✅ Ability to pass random Drug & Alcohol testing

Highly regarded:

- Previous timber mill experience
- Manufacturing or production experience
- Industrial cleaning experience
