General Manager – SIL/SDA Growth &

Organisational Performance

Full-Time $130,000–$170,000 + super + performance incentives

About the role

An established and growing NDIS provider is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the next stage of organisational growth. The core mandate is to expand the organisation’s SIL and SDA footprint while ensuring it has the workforce, leadership, financial discipline, systems and clinical capability required to support that growth sustainably.

This is a senior leadership role working closely with the Operations Manager and broader leadership team, with direct accountability to the Managing Director.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth while ensuring the organisation behind that growth is capable, accountable and scalable.

Key responsibilities

- Build and expand the organisation’s SIL and SDA footprint
- Develop strong relationships with Support Coordinators, SDA providers, allied health professionals, hospitals and key referral partners
- Identify and convert viable participant and service opportunities
- Build a sustainable pipeline of new participant and service opportunities
- Ensure new services are operationally and commercially viable before commencement
- Ensure workforce capacity, recruitment and rostering capability keep pace with growth
- Strengthen organisational systems and backend infrastructure
- Drive revenue growth while protecting margins and labour efficiency
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure service delivery capability supports expansion
- Lead and hold managers accountable for performance
- Improve reporting, decision-making and execution across the organisation
- Maintain strong oversight of quality,



compliance, clinical governance and organisational risk
- Support the organisation’s growth into high-complexity physical disability supports, nursing and clinically informed service delivery
- Embed a disciplined management rhythm across the leadership team

About you

You will ideally bring:
- Significant senior management or executive leadership experience
- Robust experience within the NDIS, disability or community services sector
- Strong knowledge and experience across SIL and/or SDA
- Experience working with complex disability or high-support environments
- Demonstrated experience growing or scaling service delivery operations
- Strong commercial and financial capability
- Experience leading managers and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong workforce planning capability
- Proven stakeholder and referral relationship skills
- Confidence holding leaders accountable
- Strong organisational and systems thinking
- An understanding of clinical governance and nursing-led or clinically informed support environments will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and SCHADS Award will be highly regarded

Remuneration & incentives

A competitive base salary of $130,000–$170,000 plus superannuation is available depending on experience and capability. The role also includes the opportunity to earn performance-based incentives linked to agreed outcomes such as:

- Labour efficiency
- New participant and service growth
- Leadership and organisational performance

Additional upside may be available where agreed performance targets are materially exceeded and growth translates into sustainable profit. This is not a maintenance role.
