Guest Experience Lead Hector's Kiosk | Casual/Part Time | Melbourne CBD

Hector’s Deli is growing — and we’re looking for a confident, guest-focused individual to run our Melbourne CBD Kiosk (corner of Elizabeth & Bourke St).

This is not your average café role.

Our kiosk sits on one of the busiest corners in the city. It’s quick-paced, high energy, and home to exclusive Hector’s donuts and pastries you won’t find anywhere else. It may be small in size, but it plays a big role in our brand.

This is a solo-operated site, so we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working independently, taking ownership and running their own space with confidence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Run the kiosk independently during your shift
- Deliver warm, efficient and memorable guest experiences
- Manage stock levels and communicate with nearby stores
- Keep the kiosk immaculate and on-brand
- Take pride in your space and performance

Breaks are supported by our nearby CBD locations, so you’ll always have backup when needed — but day to day, you’ll be trusted to manage the site.

- Enjoy connecting with guests and creating positive experiences
- Thrive in fast-paced CBD environments
- Are confident working independently
- Take initiative and don’t require close supervision
- Stay composed under pressure
- Have café, bakery or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)

If you prefer working in a large team every shift, this role may not be the right fit. If you value autonomy, responsibility and ownership, it could be ideal.
