About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Special Class Welders (structural welding) to join our team on a major shipbuilding program. This is an exciting chance to contribute to Australia's defence capability while enjoying excellent conditions, great pay rates, and long-term project security.

About You
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Special Class Welder qualifications and experience in structural welding
- Skilled in high-integrity welding to a minimum of AS 1554.1 standards
- Must be willing to undergo a medical assessment and provide a clear Federal Police Check
- Must pass a welding test prior to acceptance into the role
- Safety-focused
- Reliable
- Recognised Welder Qualification certificate at current organisation in FCAW / MCAW processes preferred for steel
- Skilled in welding to shipbuilding classification standards
- Experience using semi-automated weld tractors
