Work Locations will vary depending on the council the event is being held at The important parts:
- Day Shifts: 8 - 10 hours
- Location: Travel to various collection sites required
- Pay rate: $38.44 per hour
- Must be available to start ASAP - Saturday and Sundays
What you will be required to do:
- Event site set up and pack down
- Unload waste from vehicles
- Sort, pack and load waste including including paints, flammable liquids, gas bottles, batteries, oils, aerosols into receptacles
- Assist in loading packed waste onto trucks for return to Links Road
To be successful in the role you will:
- Valuable work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work
- Commitment to safety
- Self-motivated
- Waste industry knowledge and experience
- Able to consistently show up to rostered events
- Have personal transport to travel to events
PPE Requirements
- Long sleeve top
- Long drill pants
- High vis top
- Steel capped boots
