Brisbane Gateway Resort is seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to work as a Housekeeping Team Member within the resort's Housekeeping Team.

Brisbane Gateway Resort is a leading Queensland holiday park, located at Rochedale on Brisbane's south-side. The resort has a range of high-standard, self-contained family holiday accommodation, serviced accommodation and sites for touring caravans, motor homes and camping, all set among high-quality landscaped gardens and recreational facilities.

Essential Criteria:

- a friendly, customer focused attitude with the drive to provide total customer satisfaction
- a valuable eye for detail & previous commercial cleaning or hospitality training or similar experience
- be available for regular shifts between 8am and 3pm Monday to Friday
- be available for weekend shifts between 9am and 1pm every alternate Saturday and Sunday
- have flexibility in being able to adapt quickly to short-term changes in rostering
- be fit and agile for physical work
- have a current Queensland C Class Driver Licence (or equivalent) and safe driving record
- be already living in within 30 minutes travel time of Brisbane Gateway Resort
- have a right to work in Australia without any restriction

Role and duties: Persons in this position report to the resort's Housekeeping Supervisor. The duties and responsibilities associated with this position include (but are not necessarily limited to) the following:





- Cleaning of self-contained resort cabin-style accommodation to ensure guests' comfort and health and hygiene standards.
- Cleaning of guest amenities buildings incorporating toilet and shower facilities, disabled persons facilities, babies' bathroom facilities, guest laundry and campers' kitchen facilities to ensure guests' comfort and health and hygiene standards.
- Cleaning of recreation, reception and office buildings and surrounds, including fixtures and equipment used in those areas.
- Changing linen in guests' accommodation, removal, counting and bagging of dirty/soiled linen, sorting and storing of clean linen.
- Requesting repair services and liaising with repair and maintenance personnel where necessary.
- Undertaking recording and reporting tasks associated with the above duties.
- Undertaking reasonable care for personal health and safety and the health and safety of others who may affected by your acts or omissions, and cooperate with anything the employer does to comply with occupational health and safety requirements.
