What you'll be doing

- Partnering with stakeholders to provide practical, solutions-focused HSW advice
- Supporting risk assessments, hazard management and safe systems of work
- Facilitating incident investigations with a learning-focused, continuous improvement mindset
- Building capability and strengthening safety culture through coaching and engagement
- Working directly with teams in operational environments rather than from behind a desk
- Contributing to wellbeing, risk and safety initiatives across a large and complex organisation

About you You'll be an experienced WHS/HSW professional who enjoys building relationships and influencing positive change. You thrive in complex environments, communicate with credibility,



and bring a practical approach to risk management.

You may come from

- Research, laboratory or scientific environments
- Universities or higher education
- Healthcare or hospitals
- Manufacturing or regulated industries
- Government or large complex organisations
- Construction/Facilities Management background
- Dangerous Goods (DG) compliance and regulatory requirements

The ideal candidate
- 3+ years' experience in a WHS/HSW advisory, partnering or consulting role
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience supporting risk management, investigations and safety initiatives
- A cooperative, solutions-oriented mindset
- Qualifications in WHS, OHS or a related discipline highly regarded

Proven experience in Health & Safety advisory, partnering or consulting roles within complex, high-risk environments.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence, coach and build trust at all levels.

Hands-on experience supporting risk assessments, incident investigations,



hazard management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Knowledge of Safety-II principles and a practical, people-focused approach to safety and wellbeing.

Experience working across laboratories, research, healthcare, education, manufacturing or similarly regulated environments.

Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage directly with operational teams and senior leaders.

Relevant qualifications in WHS/OHS or a related discipline highly regarded.

Ideal for someone who wants to move beyond compliance and become a trusted safety partner driving real cultural change.
