Salary: $46ph Plus shift loading, penalties, overtime, and super (EBA)
Hours: 6am to 4 pm

About the role
Working as part of the maintenance team, the Industrial Electrician will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of plant equipment within a large-scale steel manufacturing environment.

The role involves carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, troubleshooting electrical faults, and supporting improvement projects across a variety of industrial systems including PLCs, motors, drives, cranes, and automated equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Complete scheduled maintenance, inspections,



and electrical repairs on production equipment.
- Investigate faults and provide timely solutions to reduce equipment downtime.
- Assist with upgrades, installations, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to maintain safe and efficient plant performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Current NSW Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Previous experience in industrial electrical maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Understanding of PLCs, automation, variable speed drives, and control systems.
- Safety-focused with strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
