Reporting to the General Manager Haircare Group, you'll partner closely with leaders across our Australian and New Zealand operations, supporting approximately 150 employees across the full employee lifecycle.
You'll have the opportunity to influence, coach and challenge leaders, providing practical and commercially focused P&C; advice while helping create an engaging, high-performing and rewarding workplace.
You'll work with a good level of autonomy and will play an active role in delivering our P&C; strategy and broader business priorities.

Your days will be varied and you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact across areas including:
- Partnering with leaders to bring the People & Culture Business Plan to life and deliver meaningful people outcomes.
- Acting as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management,
disciplinary matters and workplace issues.
- Providing expert guidance on employment legislation, Modern Awards and industrial relations matters.
- Supporting leaders across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to development, performance, retention and exit.
- Helping build our leadership capability through coaching, training and development initiatives.
- Supporting talent management and succession planning to build our future capability.
- Contributing to organisational change initiatives and P&C; projects.
- Reviewing and continuously improving P&C; policies, processes and systems.
- Supporting remuneration, benefits and other employee initiatives.
- Partnering with our team on WHS and Return to Work matters.
- Preparing P&C; reporting and insights to help leaders make informed decisions.
- Staying ahead of changes to employment and WHS legislation and translating these into practical advice for the business.
- Supporting effective P&C; communications and initiatives that strengthen our culture and employee experience.
About you
We're looking for someone who brings strong technical P&C; capability but, just as importantly, knows how to build trusted relationships and get things done.
You'll ideally have
- At least 5 years' experience in a P&C; Advisory or Business Partnering role.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, industrial relations and Modern Awards.
- Demonstrated experience providing trusted, high-level advice to leaders on employee relations and employment matters.
- Broad experience across recruitment, performance management, WHS, remuneration,
employee development and other P&C; activities.
- The confidence to coach, influence and constructively challenge leaders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage people at all levels.
- Strong consulting, facilitation and presentation skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to balance employee experience with business outcomes.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for creating great workplaces and helping people and businesses perform at their best.
It would be great if you also bring:
- Change management experience.
- Experience with P&C; governance, systems and reporting.
- Return to Work coordination experience.
Why join us?
At Haircare Group, you'll be joining a business where people genuinely matter.
You'll have the opportunity to work alongside passionate leaders and a supportive P&C; team, while having real influence over how we develop our people, strengthen our culture and support the continued growth of the business.
You'll also enjoy
- A competitive salary package.
- Generous staff discounts and annual product allowance.
- Free on-site parking.
- Working from our state-of-the-art head office in Marleston.
- Genuine opportunities for career growth and internal promotion.
- A supportive, collaborative and fast-paced team environment.
- The opportunity to build your career in a dynamic, innovative and growing industry.
