We are partnering with a leading law firm to find an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join their market leading HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to make a meaningful impact by driving people initiatives that support the firm’s strategic goals and foster a high-performing, engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to plan and implement projects and initiatives aligned with the people plan and the firm’s strategic ambitions, focusing on people experience, talent & resourcing, and capability & development.
- Mentor and develop junior team members through knowledge sharing and coaching.
- Manage all people-related matters, including grievances, ensuring timely, respectful resolution in line with the firm’s values.
- Coach stakeholders to build sustainable, high-performing teams through talent management and development initiatives focused on engagement and retention.
- Oversee cyclical HR processes .
- Interpret and implement people policies consistently across the firm.
- Participate in recruitment processes when required, providing expert advice and support.
- Collaborate with HR centres of expertise to ensure a consistent and positive employee experience.
- Proactively manage Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) matters, including psychosocial risks, workload management, and wellbeing initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as a generalist HR professional, preferably within a professional services or financial services sector.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- Exceptional stakeholder relationship management and influencing skills.
- Extensive experience in employee relations with a proven track record managing complex performance situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across all organisational levels.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience contributing to organisational strategic priorities.
