Connect 2 Nursing and Home Care Pty Ltd is a growing, Toowoomba-based Approved Provider delivering home care and nursing services to older people across the Darling Downs region. We are seeking to appoint an Independent Non-Executive Member to our governing body to help guide the organisation through an important period of growth, strengthen our governance framework, and support our ongoing compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and the Aged Care Act 2024 (Cth).

About the role

As an independent governing body member, you will bring objective, external judgement to the Company's decision-making, provide constructive oversight and challenge, and help ensure that decisions are made in the best interests of our consumers and the organisation. You will work alongside our Managing Director and existing governing body members to support strong, transparent and accountable governance as we grow.

What you'll bring

- Genuine independence — no employment, financial, or family relationship with the Company or its current governing body members
- Experience in one or more of: aged care or health services governance, clinical care (nursing or allied health),



financial governance, risk management, or corporate/company governance more broadly
- Sound judgement, integrity and the confidence to question and challenge respectfully
- An understanding of, or willingness to quickly build understanding of, the regulatory environment for aged care providers
- Availability to attend regular governing body meetings and review relevant reports and papers between meetings
