Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an IT Infrastructure Engineer. The IT Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and supporting core IT systems, including servers, networks, and related services. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues, implementing security best practices, and assisting with configuration changes or upgrades.

The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders or clients to address technical needs, documenting procedures and solutions, and contributing to continuous improvement of infrastructure standards. The engineer will also provide remote technical support and participate in troubleshooting activities to ensure reliable and secure IT operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Information Technology knowledge, with experience in core infrastructure components and enterprise environments.
- Candidates should possess Network Administration skills, including configuring, monitoring,



and maintaining routers, switches, and related network services.
- Candidates should possess Network Security skills, with the ability to apply security policies, manage firewalls, and support secure access controls.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills, with a systematic approach to diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including transparent communication with non-technical stakeholders and effective remote assistance.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or similar) are beneficial.
- Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, and monitoring tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time schedules, and document work clearly and accurately.
