We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Japanese-Speaking Branch Manager to join a growing organisation in Brisbane.
This is a permanent, full-time, office-based position, working Monday to Friday, 5 days per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Brisbane branch, managing day-to-day operations and supporting continued business growth.
About the Role
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the overall day-to-day operations of the Brisbane branch
- Leading, supporting and developing branch staff
- Building and maintaining strong customer and business relationships
- Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to branch growth
- Monitoring branch performance and operational targets
- Liaising with Japanese clients, suppliers and business partners
- Coordinating with internal teams across Australia
- Preparing reports and providing updates to senior management
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Working in the office Monday to Friday, 5 days per week
- Undertaking occasional domestic business travel, approximately 1-2 trips per year to Sydney
Requirements
- Previous Management experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Native-level Japanese language skills
- Strong English communication skills
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Solid Microsoft Office skills
- Full Australian working rights
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Willingness to undertake occasional domestic business travel
