The Job Position

Step into the buzz of show season! As a Junior Sales Assistant, you'll be at the heart of the action - serving happy customers, handling sales, and helping make every visit to our stand a highlight of their day. It's a fun, fast-paced role at one of the most popular stands at the show.

What you'll be doing

- Operating POS system and processing sales quickly and accurately
- Delivering friendly, upbeat customer service to a steady stream of visitors
- Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions with care
- Keeping your stand well-stocked, tidy and welcoming throughout your shift
- Helping create a fun, memorable experience for every customer

What we're looking for

- A positive, can-do attitude and plenty of energy for busy periods
- Confidence handling cash and giving correct change
- Experience in a fast-paced setting (retail, hospitality or rapid food is a bonus, not essential)
- Able to work long hours on your feet
- Reliability and a genuine enjoyment of working with the public
- Availability across the show period, including weekends

- Dates: Thursday, 24 September to Sunday, 4 October 2026
- Pay: Amusement, Events and Recreation Award 2020
- Eligibility: Must be aged 16 or over with the right to work in Australia
