- Remuneration: $88,303 to $92,901 pa (HEW4) (inclusive of $74,617 to $78,502 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for? We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant - Engineering to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Engineering. The Laboratory Assistant - Engineering will work in collaboration with other technical staff to provide an integrated and highly responsive support service. The position will assist with purchasing, repairs and maintenance, logistics, preparation, clean-up, sourcing, data collation and warehousing. The position will require basic knowledge of mechanical components.

What You Need To Succeed

- Completion of a certificate level qualification (Trade) with relevant experience in mechanical or civil engineering environments
- Proven ability to effectively manage competing tasks within high demand workarea.
- Proven ability to provide high-quality outcomes in a proactive, client centric approach.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of correct manual handling techniques and/or physical aids as well as a current C class driver’s licence
- Ability to actively participate in, and contribute to, the development of an outstanding team culture, prioritising our people and the environment.
- Demonstrated ability to connect and collaborate with a range of diverse groups (including those whose first language is other than English).
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
