About the role O Landscapes is an established landscape construction and maintenance company with more than 20 years of experience within the industry. We work with long term clients and have a variety of ongoing maintenance contracts based throughout Sydney.

We are currently seeking Horticulturists / Apprentices to join our growing team in Sydney. This is a full time position. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing care, cultivation, and maintenance of gardens and landscaped areas, ensuring they remain healthy, vibrant, and aesthetically pleasing.

Key responsibilities

- Perform regular maintenance tasks including pruning, weeding, fertilising, and watering of gardens, shrubs, and trees
- Identify and treat plant diseases, pests, and other horticultural issues using appropriate methods and products
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools in a safe and professional manner
- Prepare soil, plant new specimens, and establish planting schemes according to design specifications
- Monitor plant health and growth, adjusting maintenance schedules as required with seasonal changes
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work completed and materials used




- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their landscape requirements and provide professional advice
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and best practices in landscape maintenance

What we're looking for

- Qualifications in Horticulture, Parks & Gardens, or willing to sign on to an Apprenticeship.
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, plant care, and horticultural practices
- Proficiency in the safe operation of landscaping equipment and machinery
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to access multiple job sites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
