We’re seeking Lead Data Engineer to provide technical leadership across enterprise data initiatives, delivering scalable, maintainable data solutions in a large, complex workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical delivery across data engineering initiatives (design reviews, standards, best practice guidance)
- Design, build and maintain data integrations, ETL processes, and analytical datasets
- Drive implementation from analysis/design through deployment and operational support
- Perform code reviews and uplift engineering frameworks to improve delivery efficiency and platform performance
- Partner with stakeholders across architecture, analysis, development, testing and support
Qualifications:
- Strong, hands-on data engineering background (technical design + build)
- Proven capability leading delivery teams / mentoring engineers
- Solid experience with ETL/integration and data modelling / data quality
- Strong stakeholder communication skills (technical and non-technical)
- With Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) clearance
