We are seeking a Level 3 Mental Health Clinician to join BeCoz We Care located in the Sutherland Shire. This is a casual position suited to a senior mental health professional who can provide clinical oversight, coordinate healthcare needs and build strong working relationships across our stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organised and confident communicating with stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on participant wellbeing, dignity, choice and outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with NDIS participants in Supported Independent Living facility
- Coordinate, maintain and manage medical, clinical and health-related documentation and appointments
- Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders
- Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date participant records and documentation
- Provide clinical guidance and therapy, contribute to risk management and escalation processes.
- Collaborating with staff to implement best practice
- Ensure practices align with NDIS code of conducts and practice standards
What we're looking for
- Current professional registration or accreditation with the relevant regulatory body (e.g. AHPRA, AASW, ACA) appropriate to your profession
- Minimum 10 years of clinical experience in mental health service provision
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and the ability to apply them flexibly based on clients need
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities effectively
- An understanding of NDIS practices, compliance, safeguarding and risk management requirements
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Valid driver's licence
