Maintenance Fitter – FMCG Manufacturing
$55phr-$56phr + 20% Loading ($66phr - $68phr)+ OT + Super
Monday to Friday Afternoon Shift (2pm-10pm)

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established FMCG manufacturing company operating a fast-paced, automated production facility. This is a great opportunity to join a secure business with strong production demand and a supportive maintenance team.

The Role
Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:

- Preventative and breakdown maintenance on production and packaging machinery
- Fault finding and repair of mechanical systems
- Maintenance of conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes and processing equipment
- Supporting production to minimise downtime and maintain output
- Assisting with equipment upgrades, installations and shutdown work




- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures

About You

- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner
- Experience within FMCG, food, packaging or automated manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong mechanical fault-finding ability
- Experience working on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes and production equipment
- Ability to work both independently and within a maintenance team
- Strong focus on safety and preventative maintenance
