Senior Project Engineer – FRP (Form, Reo, Pour)3-Month Contract to Permanent OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer with strong FRP (Form, Reo, Pour) experience to join a growing civil infrastructure team.
This role will initially commence as a 3-month contract, with a clear pathway to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Working across major infrastructure and construction projects, you will play a key role in coordinating site activities, managing subcontractors, driving programme outcomes, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of reinforced concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate FRP construction activities across multiple work fronts.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site crews to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
- Prepare and review construction methodologies, work packs, ITPs, and SWMS.
- Oversee quality, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
- Coordinate with design consultants and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor project costs, forecasting, procurement, and reporting requirements.
- Support project delivery teams in achieving budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Mentor and provide guidance to site engineers and junior team members.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on civil infrastructure, building, or major construction projects.
- Strong FRP (Form, Reo, Pour) experience is essential.
- Demonstrated experience delivering reinforced concrete structures.
- Robust understanding of construction methodologies, temporary works, and site operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
