Accounts Officer

An excellent opportunity has become available for an Accounts Officer to join a well-established professional services business in Brisbane CBD.

Working closely with the Senior Accountant, you'll gain exposure across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Trust Accounting and month-end processes, making this a fantastic role for someone looking to broaden their accounting experience and continue developing their career.

Key Responsibilities

- Accounts receivable, billing and debtor management
- Accounts payable processing and invoice management
- Payroll support and payroll administration
- Daily trust account transactions and reconciliations
- Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end reporting and compliance activities
- Supporting audit requirements and finance projects
- General finance and administrative support

About You

- Previous experience in an Accounts Officer,



Finance Officer or similar role
- Exposure to AP, AR, payroll or reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is advantageous
