The Head of Mathematics role:

- Lead and manage the Mathematics Department across Years 7–12

- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs

- Mentor and support staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative department culture

- Contribute to whole-school initiatives and student achievement strategies

The ideal Maths teacher:
Experienced in teaching Mathematics to secondary students with strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum

- Proven leadership experience in managing a team or department

- Skilled in curriculum planning, assessment, and innovative pedagogies

- Passionate about inspiring students’ learning and growth in Mathematics

- Excellent communication, organisation, and team management skills

- Current VIT registration and valid Working With Children Check
