We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet / Furniture Making Tradesperson to join our Team and apply their expertise to the production of high-quality furniture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Interpret workshop drawings
2. Ability to calculate material and cutting lists
3. Construct jigs and fixtures as required
4. Operate CNC woodworking machinery, including flat-bed CNC machine, panel saw and thicknesser
5. Select appropriate materials, fittings and hardware
6. Assemble and finish furniture components to a high standard
We're looking for someone who:
1. Holds a trade qualification or has at least 2 years' experience in Cabinet Making, Furniture Making or a related trade.
2. Has experience operating Biesse flat-bed machine desirable but not essential.
3. Has knowledge of timber materials,
hardware and construction methods.
4. Has solid measuring, problem-solving skills and pays close attention to detail.
5. Works well independently and as part of a team.
