Our client is a well-established, values-driven allied health provider in Glen Waverley. With a large Occupational Therapy team and a multidisciplinary environment, you’ll be surrounded by great support. The team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and Physiotherapists.
They are looking to welcome a New Graduate Occupational Therapist who wants structured guidance, realistic expectations, and a balanced week across clinic and community.
This is a 50/50 clinic and community-based position, with a predominantly paediatric caseload (approximately 90% paeds, 10% adults). You’ll be supported to build solid foundations in assessment, goal setting, session planning, family coaching and documentation, with a steady ramp-up in workload to match your development.
Overview of ramp-up period:
- First 3 weeks: no billable requirements (focus on induction and learning)
- After 3 weeks: gradual build toward 20 billable hours per week (paced to you)
- After 6 months: target of 25 billable hours per week
On offer:
- Salary package up to $80,000–$85,000 + Super
- Structured new graduate program with practical resources and hands-on support
- Realistic billable ramp-up with flexibility based on individual needs
- Mixed work week: clinic-based and community visits
- Travel kept reasonable: typically 30 minutes
- Travel support provided (reimbursement if using your own car or access to a company vehicle arrangement, depending on preference and availability)
- Professional Development allowance of $1,000 after 12 months
- A stable team environment with clear expectations and consistent support
Key requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Australian work rights
