About the position
Our client is looking for a capable, friendly Dental Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced, modern environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient experiences.
You’ll support Dentists and the wider clinical team across a wide-ranging day, assisting with procedures such as:
- General and restorative dentistry (exams, cleans, composite fillings)
- Crowns and bridges
- Extractions and emergency appointments
- Cosmetic treatments (whitening and smile enhancement)
- Implant and surgical appointment assistance (where applicable)
With a dedicated sterilisation nurse on-site, you’ll be able to focus on chairside excellence, patient flow, and team support.
Hours: 8:30am–5:30pm
Roster:
40-hour week with a 9-day fortnight
Weekends: None!
Key requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (preferred) or solid chairside experience
- Confident assisting chairside and maintaining a calm, professional manner
- Strong communication and a genuinely patient-first approach
- Reliable, proactive, and a great team fit (culture matters here)
- Comfortable working across a busy schedule in a multi-chair environment
- Infection control knowledge and clinical standards mindset
