The Role Based in the Fairfield East workshop, you will be responsible for the fabrication, welding, maintenance and repair of forklifts, attachments and material handling equipment. Working as part of an experienced team, you will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Duties

- Welding, fabrication, cutting, grinding and fitting work
- Structural repairs and equipment modifications




- Inspection and assessment of equipment for repair requirements
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Servicing and preventative maintenance activities
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and industry standards
- Maintaining service records and workshop documentation
- Liaising professionally with customers and colleagues regarding repairs and maintenance

About You
- Trade qualified Boilermaker, Fabricator, Welder or similar
- Proven experience in welding, fabrication and structural repairs
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and teamwork
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
