Are you passionate about inspiring young musicians and creating engaging classroom experiences?

An established independent co educational school in Perth's southern suburbs is seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Music Teacher to join its team in a 0.6 FTE position commencing in 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced educator or a graduate teacher looking to begin their career within a supportive school community. You will teach Music to students in Years 7 to 10, fostering creativity, confidence and a lifelong appreciation of music.

About the Role

As a valued member of the Secondary team, you will:

- Deliver engaging and well-planned Music lessons for Years 7 to 10.
- Create an inclusive and positive learning environment where students are encouraged to participate and develop their musical abilities.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of a diverse range of students.
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback in line with SCSA requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the broader life of the school.

About You To be successful,



you will have:

- Relevant teaching qualifications and current TRBWA registration, or eligibility to obtain registration.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- A sound understanding of the Western Australian curriculum.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering engaging, student centred learning experiences.
- The ability to contribute positively to a values based school setting.
