We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a highly regarded and well-established food and beverage manufacturer based in Melbourne’s South East.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable brand operating a high-speed manufacturing environment, where you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance and efficiency of production equipment.
The successful candidate will be hands-on, technically strong and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where preventative and reactive maintenance are critical to maintaining production.

Reporting to the maintenance leadership team, you will be responsible for:

- Performing preventative and reactive maintenance across high-speed production equipment
- Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
- Supporting production to minimise equipment downtime
- Conducting fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs
- Assisting with planned maintenance, shutdowns and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining equipment reliability and ensuring production standards are met
- Working closely with production, engineering and maintenance teams
- Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Contributing to a strong safety, quality and continuous improvement culture

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Fitter within a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Mandatory Krones or KHS equipment experience




- Strong experience working with high-speed production machinery
- Experience within food & beverage manufacturing highly preferred
- Wet manufacturing experience highly preferred
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider maintenance team
- A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and equipment reliability
- Strong safety awareness and a commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant mechanical/electrical trade qualifications

Two roster patterns are available, depending on the successful candidate's preference and business requirements:

- 4 days on / 4 days off – rotating roster
- Saturday to Wednesday – fixed roster with set hours

Candidates must be comfortable working one of the above roster patterns and supporting a continuous high-speed manufacturing environment.
