Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to produce diagnostic MRI scans, assist radiologists and referring physicians during MRI procedures, and ensure patient safety and quality imaging in an inpatient hospital setting in Reno, NV. The role requires technical proficiency with MRI equipment, effective communication across care teams, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment serving a large regional patient population.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or equivalent credential.
- MRI certification preferred (R.T., R.M.R.I.T. noted as preference).
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in a hospital or comparable setting.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification.
- Ability to operate various MRI scanners and related imaging equipment.
- Experience providing care for patients across the lifespan, including infants through geriatric patients.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, trauma-designated hospital environment and follow department competency standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AART registration preferred.
- Experience in inpatient MRI, trauma center workflows, stroke protocol imaging, or high-acuity hospital settings.
Assignment Details
- Schedule includes varied shifts such as 12-hour rotations and weekend coverage.
- Call is required, including potential after-hours standby and callback duties.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
- May be required to float within the organization up to competency level.
- May be required to work major holidays and pick up additional shifts during the schedule period.
