As a Machinery Operator, you will be responsible for the protected and efficient operation of various vineyard and agricultural machinery. You will assist with daily maintenance and ensure that all machinery runs smoothly and safely throughout the season.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain vineyard machinery, including tractors, sprayers & harvesters.
- Ensure all equipment is kept in optimal working condition.
- Assistance with general vineyard duties, such as Trellis & Irrigation Maintenance, vineyard removal and redevelopment, maintaining and improving property assets.
- Undertake relevant training as necessary.
- Adhere to Work Health Safety and Environmental standards.
About you
- Proven experience operating machinery in a vineyard or agricultural setting.
- Strong understanding of vineyard operations and machinery maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capable of performing manual labour as required.
- A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
- Chemical Users accreditation and forklift licences will be highly regarded.
