Role Description The Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing and process workflows to enhance efficiency and quality. In this part-time remote role, the individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, document procedures, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Typical activities include reviewing production data, developing process documentation, preparing technical reports, and recommending changes to equipment layouts or methods. The role will also involve supporting problem-solving efforts, troubleshooting process issues, and providing technical guidance to stakeholders through virtual meetings and written communication.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Processes, with the ability to evaluate and optimize production workflows.
- Experience in Process Engineering, including process mapping, standardization,



and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles applied to equipment selection, layout, and process design.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying root causes, and proposing evidence-based solutions.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other improvement frameworks is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part time schedules, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency with common engineering and productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, CAD or process modeling software, documentation tools).
