About the role The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering structural steel and materials to various sites across Melbourne, operating a truck-mounted Hiab crane and assisting with loading and unloading, as well as working along side Site Installers installing structural steel.
Key responsibilities
- MR truck driving and deliveries
- Safe operation of Hiab crane
- Loading and unloading structural steel and materials
- Securing loads in accordance with regulations
- Site deliveries across Melbourne
- Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks
- Maintaining a clean and safe vehicle
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
About you
- Current MR Driver's Licence
- Proven Hiab crane operating experience
- Experience with structural steel or construction materials preferred
- Valuable knowledge of Melbourne roads and delivery locations
- Strong understanding of load restraint requirements
- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
