As a Network Support Officer, your primary responsibility includes maintaining school's Information Technology (IT) network, ensuring optimal educational and administrative outcomes within the regulatory framework. This role involves offering technical advice to administration staff, implementing new systems based on research, and providing comprehensive technical support and training to all users, covering desktop and software applications.

Furthermore, you would be instrumental in safeguarding the integrity of educational and administrative data through the implementation and maintenance of data security strategies. Liaising with the Department of Education ICT Support and active participation in various support networks are integral components of this position.

Eligibility To work with us, you must:

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

- Demonstrated knowledge of network systems and platforms relevant to the operating environment.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to the operational maintenance of Information Technology networks.
- Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to plan and implement data security procedures.
- Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external clients.
- Demonstrated practical experience in developing and implementing user-training procedures.
